COVID-19 cases in Kenya hit over 7,000 as the Ministry of Health announces 247 new cases.

Kenya has confirmed 247 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours after testing 4,147 samples, Health CAS Rashid Aman has said.

This now raises the number of infections confirmed in the country to 7,188.

Two more patients have succumbed to COVID-19 raising the death toll to 154.

39 patients have however been discharged bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,148.
